The E2® stem is a highly-polished, dual-taper, cemented femoral component manufactured from a high nitrogen stainless steel alloy. The system was developed by Amplitude’s team of internationally renowned engineers in collaboration with leading surgeons from around Australia.

- The stem is manufactured from a high nitrogen stainless steel alloy (M30NW) with tapered geometry to enhance load transfer and minimise shear stress at the cement/bone interface.
- E2® features a slimline stem driver attachment for accurate alignment along with a PMMA distal centraliser to allow room for subsidence of the stem.
- Thirteen stem sizes are available with offsets ranging from 35.5mm – 50mm.
- A refined and efficient instrument system allows for reproducible technique, enhancing the potential for long-term clinical success with the E2® femoral stem.
